Tip

Make Maokai’s Stapling Toss(E) target Pyke and retreat with either Ghostwater Dive [W] or Phantom Undertow[E] to retreat. Although Maokai’s Sapling Toss (E) deals a lot of damage, he poses no threat when his saplings are gone. If Maokai uses Twisted Advance (W) on Pyke, retreat with Phantom Undertow [E] to separate him as much as possible from his AD champion to finish him off before he receives backup.
