Illaoi's E skill is key in lane. Landing E enables powerful trades, but missing it puts you at great risk, so play around it. She becomes incredibly powerful in a tentacle zone with her ultimate. Try to deny tentacle spawns and avoid her ultimate's area. Be wary of ganks due to low mobility. Instead of teamfights, focus on split-pushing to pressure opponents effectively.
